After the 2009 and 2014 slots which had high variance, this third installment in the series from November 2018 has medium variance and is therefore a different game. There are still major and minor jackpots that can be won at anytime. The game again uses a 5×3 board with 30 fixed paylines, and the minimum bet is $0.30 while the maximum is $7.50. You can't bet a lot on this slot game and can't use betting strategies either.

Naughty Girl and Nice Girl are grouped Wilds, and Naughty Girl appears on reels 1 and 2 while the Nice Girl appears on reels 4 and 5. The paytable is very balanced, as ten of eleven symbols fall in the range between 100 and 300 coins for five-of-a-kind, and Santa is the exception as he pays 500 coins. Prizes for four-of-a-kind are excellent, from 30 to 200 coins, and three-of-a-kind wins are worthless in this slot game.

When you land three or more Naughty or Nice Game Logo Scatters, you'll trigger the free spins game with 7 free spins. You'll choose either the Naughty Girl or the Nice Girl to double the wins during the feature. Naughty or Nice III is, perhaps disappointingly, themed in the same way as the Spring Break slot. You'll see Santa nude and the two girls are in bikinis, and the theme is even more ridiculous than it ever was. Graphics weren't improved and look like they're from some bygone era. There are few, if any, novelties in this slot game and it's just a continuation of the series.
