Slot Overview

Released just this year, Play’n GO’s Demon video slot is the developer’s answer to the rock and roll-themed video slots offered by NetEnt. Named after the English rock band Demon, the video slot was developed for players who enjoy high risk and high rewards. Aside from its very high volatility rating, the title also has special features paired with stunning visuals and a rocking background music (Demon’s Night of the Demon, Don’t Break the Circle, The Plague, and a few others) that would make players feel like they’re back in the 80’s. What’s also great about the slot is that it’s available across multiple platforms. Whether they’re on desktop (Windows, Mac, and Linux) or on mobile (Android), players should have no problems wagering on the title (provided it’s available on their preferred online casino). Players who want a feature-rich video slot will be pleased to know that this title has what they’ve been looking for and more.

Slots Data

Much like a lot of the video slots these days, Play’n GO developed Demon as a 5-reel, 3-row video slot with 30 fixed betting lines that pay out from left to right. To win in the base game, players will need their spins to result in the appearance of at least 3 symbols of the same type in adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel. Players can set the value of each spin from a minimum of .30 to as much as 90 currency units (€/$/£). Unlike most video slots, the title has a unique Auto Play feature that has a lot of customizability. Players can set this feature to stop after a number of spins (10, 20, 50, 75, and 100), on any win, after free spins, and/or if their balances increase/decrease by the number they set. As of this writing, Play’n GO has set the video slot’s RTP to 96%.

Slots Features

Wild Amulets appear on reels 1 and 5 only and serves as the Demon video slot’s Wild symbol. This Wild symbol can substitute for all symbols to help improve players’ chances of winning a spin. Aside from Wild Amulets, the video slot also has a Wild Mask symbol that only appears on the third reel. The Wild Mask symbol (which shows up anywhere) also substitutes for all other symbols with the exception of Wild Amulets. A spin resulting in the appearance of Wild Amulets on reels 1 and 5 as well as Wild Mask on reel 3 will then trigger the One Helluva Night Free Spins mode. If the Wild Mask appears squarely on the center of the pentagram (the center of reel 3, row 2) then players will get 11 free spins (otherwise they only get 6). During free spins mode, multipliers are selected at random on every spin and applied to wins.

Special Features & Conclusion

The appearance of Wild Amulets and a Wild Mask during Free Spins mode will result in the Portal to Hell special feature to activate. In this game mode, players will get 4 to 10 Hell Spins. What sets Hell Spins apart from regular Free Spins is that these will have a fixed Multiplier. This Multiplier is the same as the Multiplier in the spin that triggered the special feature. If the free spin that triggered Hell Spins featured the Wild Mask in the center of the pentagram then the Multiplier will be doubled for the duration of the mode. This means that players can enjoy up to 16x Multipliers if they’re lucky enough.

While not as popular as their contemporaries, Demon is still an influential band that deserves its own video slot. Play’n GO for its part, has made a video slot that is able to do justice to, as well as showcase the band. The very volatile nature of the title makes it a must-play for those who enjoy high risk, high reward gameplay. Graphics-wise, the video slot is able to draw in players with its visuals while the band’s songs add a touch of immersion that also evokes nostalgia (at least for players who grew up listening to the band in the 80’s). Demon’s availability shouldn’t be a problem considering a lot of online casinos now have Play’n GO’s portfolio of casino games prominently featured in their libraries.
