Halloween Slots Data

Halloween slot uses the Wandering Reels technology which is common in Microgaming slots, and at any point, there will be 18 symbols on the board. The big section of the board is three reels wide and four rows high, and it moves from side to side as you spin the reels. The remaining two reels are three rows high. There are 50 pay lines in each of the three possible positions of the wandering reels. Wandering reels can contain jumbo 3×4 blocks, which, of course, count as if 12 individual symbols were there so this can lead to many winning pay lines. The theoretical payout of this slot is 96.20%.

The paytable is almost even, with one symbol that stands out. The six low-value symbols, all with artwork from the movie, all pay almost the same. This also goes for the characters of Lynda, Annie, and Loomis, though these three can appear as jumbo blocks and can therefore pay very well. Laurie is the main symbol in the game, with a 1000 coin prize for five-of-a-kind, compared to 400 for Loomis. There is also a Wild that substitutes for all normal symbols and a Scatter whose purpose is to trigger the bonus rounds.

Three Scatters are needed to trigger the Trick or Treat Wheel Bonus. You’ll get cash prizes from the Wheel until you win either the free spins or the Boogeyman Bonus, which is a pick-a-prize type of bonus game where you’ll pick cash prizes and win multipliers until you reveal the killer. Revealing a knife gives you one extra life against the killer. The free spins game gives 9 free spins, and the character that triggered the game will be featured on the reels during those spins.

Halloween Slot Theme

Halloween is themed around the 1978 movie starring Jamie Lee Curtis in which Michael Myers stalks teenage babysitters. The slot is much scarier than other Halloween slots that just put some pumpkins on the reels, as this one has knives, guns, and phones and has music that strongly suggests a murder will take place soon. You might even see Michael Myers lurking about. Fans of the movie franchise will like this theme and its atmosphere.

Where to Play Halloween Slot

This game stands out as a must-play title whenever Halloween comes along, but due to its ties with a famous movie, it can be played anytime during the year since it’s not just about pumpkins. It’s a quality title by Microgaming and all slot players should try it out.

There’s no shortage of online casinos that host Microgaming slots, so it’s all a matter of preference. Casinos such as Thrills Casino, Guts Casino, or SlotsMillion certainly won’t disappoint and are good places where you can play Microgaming slots, including this title. So pick one of the three and start playing Halloween if you aren’t scared to start the game!
